Severe Thunderstorm watch for: City of Winnipeg
ISSUED BY ENVIRONMENT CANADA AT 3:44 P.M. CDT MONDAY 7 JULY 2014
Summary
Severe thunderstorm conditions possible - afternoon to evening. Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.

Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required. Please continue to monitor your local media or Weatheradio for further updates.
